FOUNDED BY LAW ENFORCEMENT PROFESSIONALS
Front Line Training Center was founded by Glen Klein and Anthony Passalacqua, two experienced law enforcement professionals who believe that quality training should be built on genuine experience, proven techniques, and a commitment to student safety.
CO-FOUNDER
GLEN KLEIN
RETIRED NYPD ESU DETECTIVE
Glen Klein is a retired New York City Police Department Emergency Service Unit (ESU) Detective with a law enforcement career spanning more than 20 years.
Throughout his distinguished career, Glen gained extensive operational experience in specialized tactical operations, emergency response, and high-risk law enforcement situations.
A recipient of the NYPD Combat Cross, Glen also served as a HAZMAT Specialist and member of the FEMA Urban Search and Rescue Task Force .
Following the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, Glen dedicated more than 800 hours to recovery operations at Ground Zero , working alongside fellow first responders during one of the most difficult periods in New York City's history.
His dedication to the September 11 responder community continued long after his service at Ground Zero. Glen advocated for the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act , supporting efforts to secure care and recognition for those affected by 9/11-related illnesses.
Glen is also a certified police, NRA, security, and EMS instructor , with experience providing firearms education, tactical response training, and civilian preparedness instruction.
His instructional background includes training instructors in civilian response to active shooter incidents, helping improve preparedness and response standards across organizations.
Today, Glen brings his decades of experience and commitment to public safety into the classroom, helping students and fellow instructors develop practical skills, sound judgment, and confidence through professional training.

ANTHONY PASSALACQUA
FORMER LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER
Anthony Passalacqua is a former law enforcement officer with more than 20 years of service, bringing extensive operational and instructional experience to Front Line Training Center.
Anthony is a certified police, security, and EMS instructor , with a strong background in classroom and hands-on instruction.
His instructional experience includes firearms, Taser, pepper spray, defensive tactics, and deadly physical force training.
As a certified handgun and shotgun armorer , Anthony brings technical knowledge of firearm operation, maintenance, and safety to his teaching.
Anthony also serves as a FEMA / LSU Law Enforcement Active Shooter Response (LEASR) Instructor .
His training emphasizes preparation, teamwork, decision-making, and appropriate response in critical situations.
At Front Line Training Center, Anthony is dedicated to providing professional instruction grounded in experience, safety, and effective teaching.

OUR HISTORY

Front Line Training Center was established in 2014 by Glen Klein and Anthony Passalacqua, combining their backgrounds in law enforcement, public safety, and professional instruction.
They shared a vision of creating a training center where students could receive knowledgeable, practical instruction in an environment that is professional, welcoming, and supportive.
That vision remains central to Front Line Training Center today. We believe exceptional training requires more than simply completing course hours.
It requires instructors who know how to teach, communicate, and help every student develop confidence in their abilities.
